A Conversation

A conversation,
Just promise me a conversation,
Where you will see and not just look,

Because love cannot be forced,
I will find traces of faith everywhere,
In the absoluteness of my affection,
And hope it is enough for the both of us,
Atleast now,
Here, and until the next moment,

A conversation,
Just promise me a conversation,
Because I've realized now, how important it is to dream,
To have stars you want to reach,
Stories you want to write,

A conversation,
Just promise me a conversation,
Because I know a girl who writes regret,
Who tries to find the same someone in all her memoirs,
In order to forgive herself,

Also a boy who loves and hates,
And walks, always on parallel roads,
His lakeside picnics on forgotten birthdays, still hope for the same coincidence,
For that someone to walk by, at a parallel distance,
Hopes, still, that they never meet,

A conversation,
Just promise me a conversation,
Because in time when someone asks, what was worse,
The not-love,
Or the loss of the want to love,
I want to be able to give an answer,
To believe that I was honest with myself and gave as much as should've to the world,

Tell me, so that I can question,
Ask me, so that I can confess, and forget,

A conversation,
Just promise me a conversation.
